Long-Lasting Design
Three captive screws on the underside of the mounting plate allow the Tripod for StarSense Explorer Tabletop Dobsonians to lock your Dobsonian base and telescope to the tripod securely. The integrated accessory tray serves as a centre support to stiffen and rigidize the overall construction. Additionally, it has room for five more 1.25" eyepieces. The all-metal tripod is made of premium materials and can last years of use in harsh outdoor environments.

Observer Comfort
Easily find the ideal viewing position. Three stainless steel legs with an adjustable 1.5" diameter are included with the tripod. Finding the most comfortable position for an engrossing astronomy experience is possible whether you choose to gaze while standing or while seated. Viewing barriers like fences and low-hanging branches are lessened by the higher tripod.

This tripod was made with portability in mind; it is light and collapsible, making it simple to move and set up at your preferred observing location. Solar Warning    
Never look directly at the Sun with the naked eye or with an optic (unless you have the proper solar filter). Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.
Never use your optic to project an image of the Sun onto any surface. Internal heat build-up can damage the optic and any accessories attached to it.
Never leave your optic unsupervised. Make sure an adult who is familiar with the correct operating procedures is with your optic at all times, especially when children are present.
