Sky Watcher Heritage 114P Virtuoso Telescope

The Sky Watcher Heritage-114P Virtuoso astronomy telescope offers exceptional all-around performance for the observation of the Moon, planets, and deep-sky objects because of its superb parabolic mirror.

When an object in the night sky is found, the Virtuoso mount will track it automatically and provide a solid platform. Through the electronic keypad on the mount, the telescope can be automatically slewed in both axes at five different rates.

The revolutionary Freedom-Find dual-encoder technology, which is a remarkable feature of the Sky Watcher Heritage-114P Virtuoso, allows the telescope to be manually adjusted in either axis without losing its alignment or positioning information, providing the user with a great deal of ease and flexibility during observation sessions.

The Virtuoso mount includes a ton of useful photography capabilities in addition to its excellent astronomical capability (camera not included):

Use your DSLR to automatically take pictures in up to six predetermined positions by using camera cruising. At each predetermined location, the mount will halt and immediately start the shutter release on the camera. (Although different Sky Watcher cables are easily accessible, a Canon-D electronic shutter release cable is provided.)
