Celestron's Nature DX 12x50mm binoculars are ideal for your upcoming outdoor excursion. At a cost that fits your budget, the views through Nature DX are comparable to those of more costly binoculars.
The trail, the stadium, the arena, or pretty much wherever else you want a close-up view of the action without compromising brightness or detail, this multipurpose, all-purpose binocular is a great option. With phase-coated BaK-4 prisms and a close focus of only 8.2 feet, it's an excellent companion for wildlife and bird watching.
Prisms and Coatings
Optics in Nature DX are fully multi-coated. A pair of binoculars is considered "fully multi-coated" if all of their air-to-glass surfaces have several anti-reflectivity coatings applied to them in order to maximise the quantity of light that reaches the eye.
High-quality BaK-4 glass prisms used in Nature DX have phase coatings added so that more light reflects off of their internal faces and gets through to the eye.
Together, the BaK-4 prisms and completely multi-coated lenses maximise light transmission to provide incredibly bright, finely detailed images.
The Body
Your Celestron Nature DX binoculars are protected from harm with a sturdy rubber armoured polycarbonate housing that is light and portable. The sturdy twist-up eye cups make viewing via Nature DX pleasant for both eyeglass wearers and those without them. To select the position that is most comfortable for you, rotate through many click stops.
Additionally, to prevent internal lens fogging, the binocular is completely waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas. Even the hardest outdoor circumstances won't harm Nature DX.
Uses
The 12x magnification of the Nature DX 12x50mm is ideal for up-close views of far-off things. These binoculars retain a close focus of only 8.2 feet despite its increased magnification, making it an excellent option for watching nearby birds, butterflies, plants, and more. Beginner and intermediate birders choose the 12x50mm because the large field of vision makes it easier to find and track birds. With Nature DX, you can advance your birding passion.
Observation
Use the convenient strap that is included to transport your Nature DX. It can also be mounted on any common photographic tripod for extended viewing or digiscoping (photography through the eyepiece). It is tripod-adaptable. The tripod adapter is a stand-alone item. A sturdy padded nylon case for storage and transportation is also included with the binocular.
