Although the Sky Watcher Astrolux 76 is similar to many other entry-level reflector telescopes on the market, it comes with superior 1.25" eyepieces and accessories (rather than 0.96" or hybrid 1.25"), and the eyepieces have also been specifically chosen to provide a much more useful and practical range of magnifications (which are not unrealistically too high!) to improve your viewing experience. The telescope has a micro-adjustment elevation control and may be freely changed in both the horizontal and vertical axes. Ideal for viewing the Moon, stars, bright planets, and other things in the night sky.

Deluxe Sky Watcher Mirror Coatings
Today's reflectors typically feature an aluminium mirror surface finish, followed by a protective layer of silicon monoxide or silicon dioxide. Compared to silicon monoxide, silicon dioxide which creates a coat that is far more durable, but it also costs more to apply because it needs specialised equipment. Because the mirror in the majority of reflectors is exposed to the elements and deterioration of the reflecting coating lowers the telescope's resolution, protection is necessary. For maximum durability and long-term performance, Silicon Dioxide Multi-Coating is a standard feature on ALL Sky Watcher reflectors.
