The Celestron SkySync GPS Accessory lets you add GPS to your Celestron computerized telescope so you can get time, date, and location downloads from orbiting Global Positioning Satellites. This 16-channel GPS module plugs into your telescope's hand control or the auxiliary (AUX) port on your drive base and then mounts to a tripod leg to stay safely out of the way with included straps.

GPS is unable to link to my Celestron 8se. Tried all, external power, connect, reconnect, leave it on all night...of course activated in utilities menu, tried both connectors, aux and HC, no result ! My gsm gets my position in 15 seconds from same place...so useless
