The free Star Adventurer Mini Console App for Android and iOS is used to control the Wi-Fi functionalities.
Star Adventurer 2i Astro Imaging Mount offers a variety of setups to meet all of your astrophotography and time-lapse photography demands. It is a high-precision, lightweight, stable, and celestial tracking platform with automatic DSLR shutter release control for sidereal, solar, and lunar tracking. Additionally, it has pre-programmed parameters that help you use your DSLR to make engaging time-lapse videos.
The Equatorial Wedge, Counterweight Shaft, and 1kg Counterweight are all included in the Star Adventurer 2i Pro Pack, along with the Star Adventurer 2i Wi-Fi Mount, Ball Head Adaptor, Illuminated Polar Scope, Dovetail L-Bracket, and Equatorial Wedge. For the majority of popular camera models/brands, Sky-Watcher shutter release cables are available separately.
The Star Adventurer 2i's 1/4" or 3/8" adapters allow it to be mounted to any common tripod. The tripod head may be tilted to fit your latitude, or you can set the latitude more precisely by using the provided Equatorial Wedge. Either a tripod Ball Head (not included) or the Dovetail L-Bracket can be used to attach a camera to the Star Adventurer 2i. Small telescopes, such the Skymax-90, with a 1/4-20 tripod fitting can also be utilised with the Star Adventurer 2i when the Dovetail L-Bracket is used in conjunction with the counterweight shaft and counterweight that are included. A tiny telescope and camera (with a ball head, not supplied) can be installed concurrently on the Dovetail L-bracket by omitting the counterweight shaft. Two cameras can be attached simultaneously using two tripod ball heads using merely the dovetail bar from the Dovetail L-Bracket (not included).

Automatic Shutter Release Control
With the Star Adventurer 2i, an intervelometer timer is not required! The 2i can trigger a DSLR with the help of an auxiliary shutter release cable thanks to fully programmable shutter exposure settings. The camera will continue to shoot for the pre-programmed exposures after being plugged into the mount and firing a shot until the cable is unplugged.
