With the best day-to-night telescope, the Celestron Travel Scope 60 DX portable Telescope with Smartphone Adapter, gain a fresh perspective on the natural world and the cosmos. This refractor telescope comes with a full-height tripod and a tonne of extras, like a smartphone connector that enables you to record videos and take pictures through the eyepiece.  Everything fits neatly into a premium handcrafted backpack that is prepared to travel wherever your adventures take you.

Setting up the telescope is simple, whether you plan to bring it along on your next camping trip or use it for a quick backyard stargazing session. You can put together the telescope and its accessories in a matter of minutes, even if it's your first time.
The telescope's height may be adjusted, and it can even be set up on a higher surface like a picnic table, thanks to the tripod's movable legs.

The planets, the Moon, star clusters, and brighter deep-sky objects like the Andromeda Galaxy and Orion Nebula are all beautifully visible at night via the Celestron Travel Scope 60 DX.

Enjoy breathtaking vistas of wildlife, boats on the ocean, whales migrating, and much more, with the Celestron Travel Scope 60 DX functions as a spotting scope during the day.

The full telescope system is only 5.5 lbs, making transportation simple.

Adapter for smartphones and a Bluetooth shutter release
With the smartphone adapter, you can take your own pictures and videos of astronomical and terrestrial things.   This add-on enables you to connect any smartphone to the eyepiece of your Travel Scope thanks to its compact, robust frame.  Your phone can take stunning pictures of the Moon and planets thanks to the eyepiece's added magnification.
Installing this smartphone adapter is simple because it clamps over an eyepiece.  Tightening knobs that lock your phone in place safely support holding the smartphone in place. (NOTE: For the phone to fit in the adapter, some big and/or bulky phone cases, especially folio type cases, may need to be removed.)

Celestron has also offered a Bluetooth shutter release that enables you to remotely activate the camera's shutter on any Android or iOS smartphone without moving your phone or telescope for a perfectly stable shot in order to obtain the finest possible image.

Manual telescope with azimuth
Utilize the simple pan handle on the Celestron Travel Scope 60 DX to confidently navigate the skies.  The clutch-equipped Alt-Az control enables precise pointing and fluid tracking. You can adjust the clutch up, down, left, or right to follow your subject through the eyepiece, much like a tripod for a camera.

Included are Deluxe Accessories
The Travel Scope 60 DX comes with a full complement of optical accessories, including two eyepieces (20mm and 8mm), an upright image diagonal, a finder scope, and a 3x Barlow lens, in addition to the smartphone adapter and Bluetooth shutter release.
The two eyepieces' various magnifications let you choose between low and high power viewing of your subject.
Right-side-up images and more comfortable viewing are made possible by the erect image diagonal.
You may quickly and easily find objects and centre them in the telescope's eyepiece with the aid of the permanently mounted finder scope.

Travelling bag
Put your optical tube, tripod, eyepieces, and accessories in the supplied bespoke bag safely and securely.
