The free Star Adventurer Mini Console App for Android and iOS is used to control the Wi-Fi functionalities.
The simple-to-use Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i picture Pack offers a number of combinations to meet your astrophotography and time-lapse photography demands. It is a high-precision, lightweight, stable, and celestial tracking platform with automatic DSLR shutter release control for sidereal, solar, and lunar tracking. Additionally, it has pre-programmed parameters that help you use your DSLR to make engaging time-lapse videos.
The Star Adventurer 2i Photo Pack comes with a ball head adapter, an illuminated polar scope, and the Star Adventurer 2i mount. For the majority of popular camera models and brands, Sky-Watcher shutter release cables are available separately.
The Star Adventurer 2i's 1/4" or 3/8" adapters allow it to be mounted to any common tripod. If you want to fix the latitude more precisely, you can either buy the optional Equatorial Wedge or tilt your tripod head to match your latitude. Either the optional Dovetail L-Bracket or a tripod Ball Head (not included) are needed to attach a camera to the Star Adventurer 2i. Small telescopes (such the Skymax-90) with a 1/4 -20 tripod fitting can also be used with the Star Adventurer 2i when the optional Dovetail L-Bracket is used in conjunction with the optional counterweight shaft/counterweight. On the Dovetail L-bracket, a small telescope and camera (using a ball head, not included) can be mounted concurrently. When using two tripod ball heads (not included), two cameras can be mounted simultaneously using merely the dovetail bar from the optional Dovetail L-Bracket.

Integration is Simple with Any Tripod

Automatic Shutter Release Control
With the Star Adventurer 2i, an intervelometer timer is not required! The 2i can trigger a DSLR with the help of an auxiliary shutter release cable thanks to fully programmable shutter exposure settings. The camera will continue to shoot for the pre-programmed exposures after being plugged into the mount and firing a shot until the cable is unplugged.
