The Sky Watcher Heritage 150P FlexTube Dobsonian Astronomy Telescope 10214, boasts 33% increased light-gathering capacity thanks to the parabolic primary mirrors it uses. This telescope is a terrific and capable all-rounder that will offer stunning views.

The Sky Watcher Heritage 150P FlexTube's 150mm (6") f5 mirror is ideal for viewing rich field star clusters, nebula and galaxies from dark sky regions. Additionally, highly capable of viewing some cloud features on Jupiter, the Moon's craters, the rings surrounding Saturn, and the Moons. The phases of Venus will be visible while in view. Due to the reflector, the image will be inverted.

It is now even easier to transport and store thanks to the incorporation of the collapsible FlexTube system. Blowing the dust off both mirrors is simple with an open tube body.

It is an excellent, extremely portable grab-and-go system thanks to the simple manual Dobsonian alt-azimuth mount. Right out of the box, the entire telescope and mount are fully constructed.  Supplied in a presentation gift box.

The Heritage 150P is perfect for placement on a tabletop or viewing while seated in a low chair because it is only 33 inches high when fully extended. When not in use, the FlexTube design compresses, making it simple to put away or set down on a car's rear seat.

The Heritage 150P features high quality parabolic primary mirrors to remove the spherical aberrations present in 'quick' focal length reflectors with spherical primary mirrors. All the light beams are parabolized by the mirrors to focus on a single point, producing clear, contrasty images that are rich in detail.

Sky-Watcher Deluxe Mirror Coatings: Today's reflectors often feature an aluminium coating on the mirror surface, followed by a protective layer of silicon monoxide or silicon dioxide. Compared to silicon monoxide, silicon dioxide creates a far more durable coat but costs more to apply since it needs specialised equipment. Because the mirror in the majority of reflectors is exposed to the elements and deterioration of the reflecting coating lowers the telescope's resolution, protection is necessary. For maximum durability and long-term performance, Silicon Dioxide Multi-Coating is a standard feature on ALL Sky-Watcher reflectors.
