A traditional two-element, air-spaced, achromatic refractor, the Sky Watcher Evostar 90 Refractor Astronomy Telescope with AZ Pronto Mount 10254 is a simple, grab-and-go, hassle-free telescope.  It can be used to observe the Moon, planets, and a variety of deep sky objects thanks to its f/7.3 focal length. When equipped with an optional erect image diagonal (sold separately), this adaptable telescope would produce an upright, completely corrected image, enabling the telescope to be used for terrestrial observing as well. The well-designed and user-friendly AZ Pronto Alt-Azimuth mount offers outstanding stability and precise control on both the horizontal (azimuth) and vertical (altitude) axes via its slow motion cables. A powerful, user-friendly telescope that is highly recommended for newcomers or for seasoned observers looking for a portable option.

Two-Element Achromatic Refractors with Air Spaces
Different light wavelengths are focused at different locations by an ordinary single lens. Air-spaced two-element lenses, which minimise chromatic aberration more than conventional doublet lenses, are used in the construction of all Sky-Watcher Refractors.
