If you are interested in solar observation in addition to lunar and planetary astronomy, then the Bresser Solarix newtonian telescope 76/350 is the ideal choice.
It was never easier for the public to observe the night sky and the sun so easily, cheap and - last but not least - safely. The solar filter that was especially designed for this telescope makes it possible. It contains a special foil that protects the eye against solar radiation during observations: infrared, ultraviolet and visible light is dampened to a safe observational level. Only a safe amount of the visible spectrum can pass the filter and, giving you a wonderful solar image in the eyepiece. The safety feature of this filter was checked by an independent quality assurance company. The Bresser Solarix 76/350 includes a built-in smartphone holder, you can use your smartphone to easily take photos of the sun, moon, stars, and planets.
Stellarium astronomy software, a user manual and moon chart is included with the Bresser Solarix 76/350 telescope, along with of course a sturdy aluminium tripod with spreader bar with eyepieces and holders, supporting an Alt-azimuth mount. This telescope is not suitable for daytime observations of the landscape and environment and the viewable image will be inverted, this is not an issue with solar or night-time astronomy.
