Sky Watcher Skyhawk 1145P Telescope

This telescope is a highly capable all-rounder for the observation of the Moon, bright planets, nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters thanks to its handy 114mm of light gathering aperture and excellent parabolic mirror. Included with the EQ1 equatorial mount, which when polar aligned will make it simple for you to use the slow motion control wires to monitor objects as they move through the night sky.

The premium-quality Parabolic Primary Mirrors used in the Sky Watcher Skyhawk-1145P models, which are typically found in larger, more expensive telescopes, minimise spherical aberrations to produce even sharper, higher-contrast images that are full of detail. A parabolic mirror, or more precisely a "paraboloidal" mirror, is ground to a shape that perfectly focuses all incoming light rays on axis. Additionally, to lessen diffraction spikes and light loss, they have 0.5mm Ultra-Thin secondary mirror supports.

High-quality parabolic primary mirrors are used in the Sky Watcher Skyhawk-1145P to eliminate the spherical aberrations that are present in 'quick' focal-length reflectors with spherical primary mirrors. All the light beams are parabolized by the mirrors to focus on a single point, producing clear, contrasty images that are rich in detail.
