Wirelessly manage the very portable Sky Watcher Explorer 130P Reflector Astronomy Telescope with AZ-GO2 Mount 10193, with the help of the free SynScan App for iOS or Android. This is a great option for the serious beginner. The Sky Watcher Explorer 130P also obtains excellent praise from more seasoned astronomers.
The AZ-Go2 mounting can be used anywhere without relying on other Wi-Fi or mobile networks because of its built-in Wi-Fi module, which establishes its own Wi-Fi network. You can use the App's user-friendly touchscreen menu to explore the cosmos after entering your coordinates and going through a quick alignment process.
Full computerised GO-TO control is provided by the AZ-Go2 and SynScan App, enabling the telescope to be automatically swung to any of the 10,000+ astronomical objects in the App's enormous database.
The Sky Watcher Explorer 130P is a very capable all-rounder for the study of the Moon, brilliant planets, nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters. It has an incredibly helpful 130mm of light gathering aperture and a great parabolic primary mirror.
Premium-quality Parabolic Primary Mirrors, often found in larger, more expensive telescopes, are used in the Sky Watcher Explorer 130P models to eliminate spherical aberrations and produce even sharper, higher-contrast images that are full of detail. A parabolic mirror, or more precisely a "paraboloidal" mirror, is ground to a shape that perfectly focuses all incoming light rays on axis. Additionally, to lessen diffraction spikes and light loss, they have 0.5mm Ultra-Thin secondary mirror supports.
'Fast' focal length reflectors with spherical primary mirrors are prone to spherical aberrations, which are eliminated by the use of high-quality parabolic primary mirrors. All the light beams are parabolized by the mirrors to focus on a single point, producing clear, contrasty images that are rich in detail.
