I bought the Celestron Travel Scope 70 after watching countless YouTube videos on all sizes of telescopes. I wanted to keep it simple to see how often I would use it before possibly considering spending more money on a more powerful telescope. I've certainly been using it regularly, weather permitting, and it's not disappointed. Jupiter and four of its moons, Saturn and its rings, the Orion nebula and of course the moon are all very clear. As are numerous other heavenly bodies which I'm beginning to identify. Other reviews have rightly criticised the poor tripod stability but you can't quibble at this price. I've got round this by placing the tripod on a garden table on it's lowest possible setting. One advantage over its bigger and more expensive cousins is that it takes me only a couple of minutes to set up and more importantly with our climate, a few seconds to take it indoors when the rain comes. I'm very pleased with my purchase and look forward to many more months of stargazing.

So pleased with this telescope. Arrived promptly, no damage, product safely inside box. The telescope performs perfectly. Extremely happy with the service PicStop provided. Thanks!!
i purchased this telescope for my Husbands 70th birthday, we live in a 2nd floor flat overlooking the English Channel which can get very busy, but as yet not spotted many, it has given him an interest.
Hi guys I am well pleased with the scope and what it can do.....I will be back because I want to buy something else... thanks for your help ..
Bought this for my partner for Christmas and she loves it. Excellent purchase and very swift delivery.
I bought this telescope for my 9yr old granddaughter who has developed an interest in the night skies. She is very pleased with it and so is her mother who says it is very simple to set up. The whole kit fits into the back pack. I can not comment on the technical aspects of the telescope but would like to say I would have been prepared to pay a little more for the package to include the moon filter and mobile phone holder which I had to purchase separately
Easy to set up and use, was imaging the moon in no time! Tripod slightly flimsy and alt adjustment could be smoother but I didnt expect any more for the price.
Easy to put together, compact for carrying, perfect for beginner. Very happy!
Was worried that as a 70 year old , with no DIY skills , I would struggle to put telescope up/be able to use it. No problem. Its great for bird watching as well as examining the night sky. Everything right way up! That was another relief. Good value, well made, excellent service - fabulous.
