Colour fringing, sometimes referred to as chromatic aberration, is a frequent optical flaw in binoculars that is almost completely eliminated by Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass. Celestron TrailSeeker ED provides razor-sharp photos and exceptional colour correction with edge-to-edge sharpness.
Every ED glass is not made equally. When comparing photos with non-ED binoculars, Celestron's superior ED glass produces noticeably clearer and brighter images. When there is less light, like at dawn or dusk, the difference is very noticeable.
Phase- and dielectric-coated BaK-4 prisms and completely multi-coated optics are features of the TrailSeeker ED. When all air-to-glass surfaces of a binocular are covered in several layers of anti-reflectivity coatings, the binocular is said to be "fully multi-coated," allowing the greatest amount of light to enter the eye through the glass.
With phase and dielectric coatings, the premium BaK-4 glass prism inside TrailSeeker ED allows for greater light reflection and diversion through the eye. Combining BaK-4 prisms with completely multi-coatings optimises light transmission to produce the clearest, most detailed images imaginable.
Durable and lightweight magnesium alloy make up TrailSeeker ED 8x32. Rubber is applied to its sturdy, stiff structure so that it can withstand rough handling in the field. In order to avoid internal lens fogging, the binocular is additionally completely waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas. Even the most demanding outdoor conditions are no match for TrailSeeker ED.
Because to the sturdy twist-up eyecups, viewing via TrailSeeker ED is pleasant for both spectacle wearers and non-wearers. Rotate among several click stops until you locate the one that suits you the most.
With its 6.5-foot close focus, TrailSeeker ED roof binoculars are ideal for observing close-up subjects including plants, birds, butterflies, and other objects. However, these 8x32mm binoculars also provide a broad field of view to make it easy to track moving targets and the magnification required to capture stunning vistas of distant things. Whatever your preferred method of observation, this adaptable binocular is a superb all-around performer.
You can select the carrying harness or neck strap that best suits your comfort level when using the TrailSeeker ED. Additionally, it can be mounted on any common photographic tripod for longer viewing or digiscoping sessions because it is tripod adaptable. (A tripod adapter is not included.) A soft protective case for storage or transportation is also included.
